This famous statute of a small boy taking a pee embodies the rebellious spirit of Brussels. Initially this statue was a fountain that distributed drinking water starting in the 15th century. Depending on the day he may be decked out in an outfit. His wardrobe is changed on 23 fixed dates with additional clothing dates added. At present the statue has 900 outfits with the Museum of the City of Brussels displaying 100 of these suits.
