The Matia Fountain, a memorial fountain group in the western front yard of Budapest's Buda Castle, was built in 1904 and is one of the most frequently photographed landmarks in the Hungarian capital. The fountain was built by sculptor Alahos Strom and architect Arahos Hausmann who rebuilt the Royal Palace. The sculpture features the Duke of Palfi, the stag and the hound.

You must visit this fountain if you are in the Buda Castle district. It is a work of art.
