McGovern Centennial Gardens This garden is part of Hermann Park around downtown Houston. Although it is still early spring, there are already a large number of different kinds of flowers in the garden. There are blessing monuments presented by Qianshan City in Japan and Dunmu Pavilion and Confucius statues with Chinese characteristics. The stone carvings on the top of the garden are Chinese mottos of ten years of trees and a hundred years of trees. This is not a tourist spot, but it provides a great leisure venue for locals.
