[Meili Snow Mountain] Meili Snow Mountain in Tibetan area called Kawagbo Snow Mountain, the word "Meili" is Deqin Tibetan mainri Chinese translation, meaning Yaoshan, because of the rich variety of precious medicinal materials and its name. With Tibet's "Gang Rinpoche", Qinghai's "Anima Qingshan", Qinghai's "Yundu Juewo" and called the Tibetan Buddhism four god mountains, called "Prince 13 Peaks". The highest peak "Kawagbo" peak is 6,740 meters above sea level, is the highest mountain in Yunnan Province. In the hundred years before Kawagbo was banned from climbing, the number of people challenging Kawagbo was endless. In 1902, the British mountaineering team launched a challenge, and in1987-1996, Japan, the United States and China and Japan jointly launched a challenge to Kawagbo Peak, and they all lost. From November 1990 to January 1991, 17 Chinese-Japanese mountaineers tried to climb to the top, and all died, making it the second-largest disaster in the world's mountaineering history. So Kawagbo, at 6,740 meters above sea level, is still the "virgin mountain" that humans have not conquered. Since 1902, more than a dozen human climbs of Kawagbo have ended in failure, and Kawagbo has been banned from climbing.
