Unfortunately we were in Melbourne when we were due to renovate and close. But someone sent a flyer here to point us to a temporary visitor center. As always, I did a lot of homework before I set off for Melbourne, but I was glad we came to this visitor center first. The staff were very helpful and we left the visitor center with an information manual about several streets in the city center. We followed the information in the manual and walked the graffiti alley, very much like it.

The tourist centre is just next to the railway station, opposite St. Paul's Cathedral, and the attractions are relatively concentrated. Therefore, Melbourne can be measured by footsteps on this day. There's also a carriage tour in the street. I'm very happy.

Located in the Federal Square, it is very conspicuous. You can see it whenever you go to the Square. The first floor above ground and the first floor below ground are the main functions of the first floor below ground. It's a large area with a consulting desk in the middle. There are about 4,5 staff members responsible for travel booking, car booking, direction and sales of Myki cards. People waiting for consultation need to queue up and call, just like banks in China, there is no special Chinese service. Tourist centers offer many free promotional materials to introduce Melbourne and Victoria's tourist routes, but also many souvenirs for sale. The price is more expensive, the things are general, you really need to buy them here. After all, there are many kinds of souvenirs. There are cups, souvenir badges, postcards, glasses, jigsaw puzzles, cultural shirts, koalas, kangaroo plush toys, key chains, flying back and so on. The cheapest cup mat costs about A$2. Just drop in when you visit Federal Square.

If you don't have the idea of traveling, you are advised to come here first when you come to Melbourne. There are many recommended routes for Melbourne tours. As poor tourists, there are many free programs for you to hike through Melbourne's history and scenery. There are also many local souvenirs to buy here.

It's very convenient and useful. I took some brochures, which are very detailed, and the staff answered our questions enthusiastically. Some souvenirs can be bought back to my family.
