Molokaʻi Forest Reserve Review

Molokai Island is really beautiful, the island is not big, but the blue sea surrounds an emerald island, just like a jade in the sea, this scenery really makes our group sigh.

Molokai Island (Molokini Crater), also known as Malokai Island, is a crescent-shaped island formed by a partially submerged crater in the sea. The island is located in the Alalakeiki Canyon between Maui and Kahurawi Island. The coast to the north of the island is the least damaged coast in the Hawaiian Islands.

Another legend here, it is said that Kamihamiha the Great had come here to visit a female chief, but unexpectedly learned that the chief has died. Fearing death, Kamihamiha knocked out two of his front teeth. There are also some local customs.

The area is covered with shrubs and dust, followed by a large, dark, fragrant birch forest, scattered with cypress and Norfolk pine trees.
