Monastery (Al Dayr) Review

After a lot of hardships, almost scrapping his hands and arms, he finally reached the top left corner of the map: the monastery, another monument to Petra. Built in the 1st century AD by the Nabatean people, about 45 meters high, about 50 meters wide, the entrance gate is 8 meters high, is a typical Nabatean architecture. The monastery is much taller than I originally thought, and the overall feeling is really, very monastery. It is reasonable to say that the building is used as a monastery at first glance. The whole palace is as formal as the Kazny shrine that has just passed by, compared to the mausoleums that have dug holes in the terracotta walls. The overall feeling of the monastery is quite solemn, and without introduction or advance access to the information, the first feeling is that this is also a formal occasion for some special uses and activities in the ancient Roman period.
