Edinburgh Castle - Mons Meg Review

Monsmeig Castle is the main attraction of Edinburgh, and there are many attractions and activities within these walls, one of the great cannons of 1449, the popular photo spot, given James II the last time for the siege of Edinburgh Castle in 1571.

This was a fifteenth-century fort, and there are still many cannons here, capable of firing four hundred pounds, twenty-inch shells, with a range of about two miles, and at the end of the fifteenth century James IV built the castle of Duchar, to suppress the snobbery that rebelled against him
