Porec has the most complete religious complex in Croatia, with Roman and medieval relics, including the Jufrassus Church, the Temple of Neptunes, and Roman-style houses built in the 6th century. It is especially famous for its Byzantine masterpiece, the Church of Euphratesus, and is considered one of the best Byzantine artworks in the world, which is also the purpose of our trip.
