Gongga Mountain (Minya Konka) is located south of Kangding, Sichuan Province, and is the main peak of the snowy mountain. There are 45 peaks above 6,000 meters above sea level, and the main peak stands at the top of the peaks, at an altitude of 7,556 meters. It is 6,000 meters higher than the Dadu River on the east side of it, which is known as the "king of Lushan". The main peak of Gongga Mountain is composed of granite diorites, affected by the marine monsoon. The snow line is 4,600~4,700 meters above sea level, and the glacier has a large scale. The largest Hailuogou glacier on the east slope is14.2 kilometers long, and the end is 2,850 meters. It has fallen into the forest belt. Under the action of long-term glaciers, the peak is developed into a conical peak, surrounded by cliffs of 60°~70°, and it is difficult to climb. In 1932, the American expedition was successful. The Chinese mountaineering team reached the peak in June 1957.
