Ciyun Temple is located in the west of Tianzhen County, Datong City, Shanxi Province, known as "Guanbei Jucha". It was originally built in the Tang Dynasty and was originally named Fahua Temple. It was renamed Ciyun Temple during the Ming Xuande years. The whole picture of Ciyun Temple is a complete group of ancient buildings preserved during the Xuande years of the early Ming Dynasty. The temple is more than 140 meters long and more than 40 meters wide. There are the temple of King Kong, the temple of Daxiong, the temple of Sakya, the temple of Pilu, the temple of Guanyin and the temple of the earth and the Tibetan temple. On May 25, 2006, Ciyun Temple, as an ancient building in the Ming Dynasty, was approved by the State Council to be included in the list of the sixth batch of key cultural relics protection units nationwide.
