A bronze statue of Mozart is the center of the square, and the old house on Wag Square next to it is the birthplace of the famous local poet George Traka, who was a key advocate of the establishment of the square. He donated huge sums of money personally and also donated a marble base, which is today in the Karolino Augustan Museum.
