The Paige Guggenheim Museum houses some of the finest modern artists of the first half of the 20th century. It favors the depth of those artists, without exaggerated, flashy works. The grouping of works seems to depend largely on Paige and/or his houses. Works are not grouped according to the artist or theme or era, but are randomly grouped. So each house is interesting, but it is difficult to track the artist’s artistic career or the dialogue between participating members of a sport.
