Philbrook Museum of Art Review

Great and eclectic selection of fine art. Beautiful gardens, American Indian art, large collection of pottery from Maria Martinez. The home is beautiful.

Been there once, the second Sunday of each month is free. When I went there, because there were many students doing activities in the hall for free on Sunday, it seemed to be a live Linyi, and there were musical instruments. This museum is private. It seems that it used to be a private mansion and a luxurious garden. The oil paintings in the collection are mainly Christian content, and there are pottery, etc., family photos and introductions, and old-fashioned furniture and pianos. The garden landscape is very large and the area is very large. It is the most exquisite in the park I have seen. It is rare in the United States, because there are few artificial traces of American parks, and there is time worth seeing.

Modern Unique Museum ⛅ Although I lived here for more than two years, I didn't visit Philbrook Museum of Art until the latest weekend. It's a private residence, donated to the city, and has been turned into a museum. The buildings and grounds here are amazing (the home and gardens are incredible) and the ground floor is beautiful. They also have temporary exhibits that are very interesting. Free one day every month on the “second Saturday” and free for “children” under 17. My friend she wanted to see the Islamic art exhibition and it was interesting. The collection in the mansion is worth seeing. There are beautiful lawns and gardens around the building that take hours to enjoy and explore. ⛅ What is unique about this museum is that the museum itself is part of Tulsa's history. The architects inside and outside are amazing, as well as the whole history and modern artwork. The price of the visit is very low. ⛅ the museum is a great place to go. If you are taking the time to watch everything at a steady pace, it is recommended that you plan a 4-hour trip on your first trip.
