Mayor Square has been mentioned many times in the famous Spanish novel "The Fate of Two Women" (Spanish: FORTUNATA Y JACINTA)), and this time I can see its spectacular scene firsthand. This is built by Phillip III in 1619. In the center of the square is a statue of Phillip III's horse riding. It was rebuilt in 1953 after three fires. There are various performances by street artists and many small local restaurants. If you are tired, you may wish to sit here.
