The Royal Malaysian Police Museum is located in Kuala Lumpur which showcases the history of the Malaysian Royal Police Force which was founded under British colonial rule until the 1970s. The original museum was actually built of wood but when the artifacts were moved, the museum also moved to a new location. Its construction began on February 18, 1993 and was completed after four years of construction. The museum is divided into Gallery A, Gallery B and Gallery C which are open every day to the public.

The museum exhibits a collection of more than 2,500 historical items. Among those exhibited here are weapons confiscated from the communists during the emergency period, a collection of daggers, Gurkha knives, Portuguese pistols and other weapons modified from everyday items by criminals in Malaysia such as bicycle chains and many more. Apart from weapons, this museum also exhibits police uniforms from the past as well as documents that have been seized from the communists.
