Qiang Bahrain Temple is located on the eagle-landed rock island between Angqu and Zhaqu. It is said that Master Zongkoba predicted that the temple could be built here when he returned to Tibet from the Central Plains to Qamdo. Later, his disciple Xiaround Sanbu was located here in 1437 (Ming Orthodox two years). The temple was built in 1437 to 1444, which lasted 8 years. The main Buddhist temple is Maitreya Buddha. It is named Qiangba Buddha because of its Tibetan name. Qiangba Ba Temple is the earliest and largest temple founded in the Gelu temple in Kang District. The strong bahrain monastery has many monks, reaching 5,000 in its peak, and the incense is strong throughout the year.
