Qixia Temple is located in the foothills of Huilong Mountain in Yiyang City, Hunan Province. It was built in the Taiyuan period of the Eastern Jin Dynasty Xiaowu Emperor (late 4th century AD). It is said that the Indian monks are not as good as the Miduozundu, formerly known as Baoquan Temple. It is rumored that the emperor Jianwen was forced out due to the court unrest and cut his hair here as a monk; When the future generations rebuilt, they used to be emperor buildings, so they changed their name to Qixia Temple. There is a historical monument inscription in the temple and the story is: "The ancient temple of the Jin Dynasty - the sea and vicissitudes of the land, the Ming Dynasty floating clouds, green mountains and green waters hidden monks".
