Quake City Review

Tickets are $20 per person. The museum features some real exhibits, photos and videos that give you a good idea of what happened (Christchurch, New Zealand, 2011). Some video clips are left to give you a more visual view. It was a great experience and worth the money to buy tickets.

Great exhibition about the last two years of the earthquakes in Kleistcherch in 2010 and 2011. I recommend you sit there and watch the full movie and people tell their own stories about the disaster. Very moving movie, highly recommended

This place is well worth visiting and if you are in the Christchurch area you can learn and understand what happened on that day changed Christchurch forever. If you have time, I suggest you watch that video for more than an hour on the way to visit and you will hear how the first responders and people who experienced the earthquake described their experience. The video is very shocking, but since I came here, I think I should take a look.

I was supposed to be here before, but I brought my friends on Thursday and they put my name on the list, so it’s free for me to bring my partner a week later. Superb system (you just need to remember the date you first came to get a free beer) they add your name to the list. Small but fun interactive earthquake shows there are plenty of multimedia and children's activities on site. Loved the stories of these survivors. The staff is professional and friendly, and can also provide rainy days for local residents and tourists, don't miss it.

It’s also good to go to get geological education. A woman about 40 years old at the front desk went to China to save the disaster in the Wenchuan earthquake. She can speak Chinese. I like her.
