    St. Sarkis Cathedral was built in 1842. It is usually crowded on Saturdays, since it is one of the most popular churches for wedding ceremonies. Behind the church on Proshyan street there is also an amazing museum that is worth visiting if you are in town. Check out Parajanov's house-museum.
