[South Pacific Crusoe] There is only one commercial street in Savusavu Town. The street is crowded at noon. There is a big supermarket, a few canteens, and two or three Chinese restaurants. Walking on the street, there are almost no other Asian faces. In addition to the native Melanesians, Indian migrants have a strong influence in Fiji, with more than 30% visually. Private yachts are concentrated in docks a few hundred meters away from civilian areas, and large ferry ships from the capital Suva are parked in ports farther away. There is a hot spring in the town, and I saw the hot spring on the beach for the first time (Figure 9). I went back to boil an egg [insidious] Figure 3 is the homestay I live in. There are many islands in Fiji, but it seems that locals will not travel to other islands except for the islands they live on. Yesterday and today, both landlords are like this. They rarely turn on the lights at home, there is no hot water in this place today, life is a bit tight, but it feels like they are still in a good mood every day. Love this original ecological small village, avoid the resort where tourists gather, and go deep into the local market life. It is my favorite way to travel now. After all, it is a waste of living in a big hotel alone. Let’s talk about it when you have a family in the future. [Erha]
