At first glance, the aquarium looks dilapidated, has no proper entrance and the first third of the aquarium needs renovation. However, we are all captivated by the passage through the aquarium, from the spectacular penguin tour to the exit. Highlights: Tropical fish (especially clownfish), yellow herring, sharks, penguins and dugongs. Our 15-year-old son enjoyed the VR experience ($10) and we all laughed at the fluorescent light section that made us radiant! Tip: It is recommended to play 1-2 hours, buy tickets online (cheaper, no queue, adult tickets $41.40 /16 under $29.70), leave before 10 am, avoid the crowd, take the ferry to relax, and start from the ring pier of Pier 5. Also, skip the Aquarium Cafe and along the pier are the tasty restaurants to try.
