The Seine is 775 km long and is an important commercial waterway in the Paris Basin in northern France. The Seine River passes through Paris and enters the English Channel of Le Havre. Almost the entire length can be used for cruise ships, offering sightseeing tours on the banks of the Paris river, with many monuments on both sides including Notre Dame Cathedral, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and the Museum of Othello.
