Shangganzi Village is located in Xiachengpu Town, 25 kilometers southwest of Jiangyong County, 2 kilometers away from the provincial road S325. According to Yongming County Zhizai, Han Wu Emperor Yuanding 6 years (111 BC) set up Xiemu County in Shangganzi, a Cangzhu County, after more than 700 years, to the Kai Emperor of Yuan Wen 9 years (589 AD). Since the Tang Dynasty (827 AD), the Zhou clan settled here, has a history of more than 1,000 years, for thousands of years, the village name and village site have been unchanged, is the Zhou clan people living together.[22] In the long years, it is known as the "millennium ancient village" by the historical circle. There is still a short way to Shanggantang intersection to enter the village. There are crops growing in the fields beside it. You can see beautiful scenery in different seasons. A small river separates the old village from the new one. When you enter the village, you can feel the prosperity of the old one. It is worth visiting.

The scenic spot is free, but the ancient houses have a good view. Much better than the Goulan Village charged next to it.
