Shangbahe National Forest Park is located in the hinterland of the southern part of Qinling Mountain, northeast of Ningshan County, 148 kilometers from Xi'an, the provincial capital, 2 hours by car; 193 kilometers from Hanzhong,2.5 hours by car; 190 kilometers from Ankang, 2.2 hours by car. The park covers an area of 201 square kilometers, 118 kilometers of the north-south ring road, and the forest coverage rate is 98%. It is the most typical biodiversity region in China's central and western regions.
