Rasa Ria Reserve by Shangri-La Review

Shangri-La’s Rasa Ria Resort in Malaysia is a tranquil paradise nestled between lush rainforests and pristine beaches. With its impeccable service, luxurious accommodations, and a wide range of activities including golf, spa treatments, and nature excursions, it offers a perfect retreat for both relaxation and adventure. Walk here at night under the guidance of a guide. Dino is a man of few words but a perfect guide. He is observant and knowledgeable, pointing out when there are interesting animals or insects. Close to a large resort there are a surprising number of creatures (seeing a panda, whiptail and unknown eyes shining in a tree). Children love the ease of accessibility (no long trek into the jungle). Bring a spray (you need to take the AV out of the resort - there are only sprays that do not contain AV). I didn't notice sand flies in the hotel, but there were not many mosquitoes :) We took a guided tour of the forest crown, a great experience with the magnificent scenery. The rope bridge was fun and the guide was very knowledgeable, except for a few venomous snakes, We didn't see much wildlife on our trip, but it was pleasant nonetheless, with strong shoes and lots of water, as you'll definitely need them, as well as repellent.

Superb stay at Rasa Ria Reserve by Shangri-la at Kota Kinabalu! a definite must visit place here!

Just came back from this resort & it's too bad my heart still with them! Loved the hotel room, the beach, their facilities & many more. Definitely I will come back soon!
