The Sabbath Church of the Virgin was built in September 1908, with contributions from the Middle East Railway Administration and donations from the church. The structure is square, the altar is protruding outward, and the white exterior wall is neat and simple. The entrance to the church has a round arched porch, four huge drum piers supporting the cross-crossed slope roof, on which the onion-headed dome is placed.
