On August 15, 1945, the defeat of Japanese imperialism announced unconditional surrender. Song Dian Village, Changxin Township, Fuyang (now Fuyang City, the Mid-Autumn Festival Village), was designated as the only place to surrender Japanese troops in Zhejiang. On September 4, the same year, the Chinese representative of the Ministry of Health, the deputy commander of the Third Theatre and the director of the Qianjin Command, Lieutenant General Han Deqin, accepted the Japanese representative here, and the chief of staff of the 133 Division of the Invasion of Zhejiang and Japan, Tongze Ichizhi Dasuo, etc. surrendered. The Japanese side submitted certificates, stationed surfaces, rosters of officers and soldiers and weapons inventory at the ceremony. Because it is the place of major historical events, it has been included in the historical annals of the Zhejiang Anti-Japanese War. In September 1995, the Fuyang People's Government allocated funds to repair the old site and open the exhibition to the outside world.
