North of Seattle, there is a famous flower field in the Skagit Valley. The main planting is tulips and daffodils. Every April, the annual tulip festival is held here. Washington State is the second largest tulip source after the Netherlands. It takes about an hour to drive to see the tulips, but due to the cold weather this year, the tulip flowering period is probably in mid-April, really cherry blossoms and tulips can not be combined. Fortunately, the daffodils are blooming, and it is a worthwhile trip!
