It is located in the United States capital Washington, D.C., is a very famous museum managed by the Smithsonian Institution, the national museum institution, opened in 1910. It focuses on museums in astronomy, earth sciences, anthropology, paleontology, biology and more. The museum’s main collections include collections of mammals on all continents, as well as collections of anthropology. The Museum of Human Origin is the only dedicated exhibition in the United States in this field, showing the various stages of human evolution. In addition to the exhibition, the museum has a variety of educational activities to train middle school students to explore science. A true fossil-made heavy skeleton is shown here. A model of a blue whale, weighing 150 tons and 25 meters high, was captured on the southern coast of the United States in 1925. In astronomy, there are 31 tons of the world's largest meteorites, and the Earth science exhibits include 563 carat sapphire "Indian Star" and so on. In addition to the exhibits, the museum includes the Hayden Observatory, an IMAX theater that broadcasts various science education programs, and a library of 480,000 books, photos and manuscripts, which is responsible for the compilation of a monthly magazine. These collections are sourced from numerous sources, some private donations, some from the museum’s own scientific expeditions, and some from small closed museums.
