One of the world's best open-air museums. Located on the outskirts of Cardiff, the museum tells the moving stories of the Welsh people; it shows you how they live, work and relax, and the staff speak Welsh for daily communication. St Fagan has more than 40 original buildings, brick by brick, from different parts of Wales, including a row of blacksmith shops, several farmhouses, a classroom and a medieval church. The museum is located at St Fagan's Castle - a beautiful manor house with a history of more than 400 years, with many beautifully regulated gardens. In the museum's workshops, craftsmen such as blacksmiths and woodcutters perform their crafts daily, and a large number of rural animals live leisurely in the museum's fields. The indoor exhibition hall displays Welsh clothing and agricultural tools. There is also a hands-on exhibition hall for visitors to experience the life of the Welsh people firsthand
