The State Hall contains the Governor's living room on the first floor of the castle and some guest rooms on the second floor. The rooms on the first floor have preserved Renaissance wooden roofs, while the stone gates were rebuilt during the interwar period. The east side and north wing of the second floor are used as guest rooms, and the original roof was destroyed by two fires during the occupation of Austria in 1702 and early 19th century. The three rooms south of the stairs contain a large number of exquisite decorations. The Envoys’ Room is luxuriously decorated, with wooden carvings of 30 portraits on the ceiling; the Senator’s Room (Senatorial Room) is decorated with a large number of tapestries, in addition to a large number of precious paintings, Italian furniture and Polish royal portraits.
