    4/5Excellent

I hiked the O'Leary Peak Trail. Fantastic hike up a volcano. You're going uphill for 5 miles, but it's not especially steep.

Circular road US89 offers access to both craters and sunset (south) Wupatki site (north) easily accessible from flagstaff or Grand Canyon. The view from the room is very dramatic. The Sunset Crater is large and many other smaller volcanic cones are also visible nearby. It is easy to pass along the rugged lava on both sides of the trail. It is quite surprising that the lava in the middle and the imagined block of crater that collapsed from it 1,000 years ago and the other cones of the sunset! It is not a lava that flows as an explosive growth. There was a more challenging vertical tracking of a conical standard room with great views. There was a wooded building in the visitor center which was a fairly interesting display and forest. Descriptive markings were also great. One fee ($20.00 per car) covers both places. Plan to spend a day exploring both places, especially if you do some walking trails. The drives are absolutely beautiful from one end to the other: the changing scenery is memorable too.

The first close encounter of the volcano, the sunset crater Flagstaff trip we went to a particularly memorable attraction, that is the famous sunset crater, it is the youngest volcano in the region, erupted thousands of years ago, Now the sunset crater is basically no grass, especially desolate. The experience of the sunset crater is particularly different. The magnificent natural landscape is the biggest point here, and the scenery of the crater is also amazing. The beauty of the crater walks on the way to the sunset crater, the first feeling is the desolation here, although there are some fragments of grass around, but they are all particularly short. We weren't alone on the way to the crater, and the desolate scenery was particularly textured in the camera, and we all liked the photos taken here. Sunset time sunset crater is best seen at sunset, it is best to take a SLR to shoot the sunset crater scenery, sunset to the sunset crater rendering a magnificent landscape, like a difficult to cut oil painting. There are already some bright red sunset craters that are more beautiful at sunset, a bit of the taste of the flame mountain. PS: open all day
