Really a great place to visit! I’m not usually keen on museums, but this “live museum” is a place I’d always recommend. I took my elderly parents to visit and luckily had Margaret as our guide and we found her particularly wonderful, particularly knowledgeable and charming. The whole journey takes only about an hour, including watching a short video and a visit to four (small) villas, with furniture from different periods, from the early 1800s to the 1970s. Story, video and photos from different people who have lived here really brought life to this museum. Tickets are only $8 and I haven't found anything more interesting that you spend $8! You can also go to the small shop to see - or what it was just built - to find a memory.
