Tang Shunling is located 15 kilometers north of Xianyang City, and it is rumored that Wu Zetian's mother Yang's mausoleum, Tang Gaozong Xianheng, died in September of the first year, Wu Zetian buried her here according to the royal courtesy of the princess. Later, Wu Zetian called the emperor, day and night thinking of her mother Yang's, so she built a civil construction for her mother to build a mausoleum, which was enjoying the imperial ritual system at the time. Shunling is known for its majestic and exquisite stone carvings, with 30 existing animals, statues of people and scattered pieces of Huabiao stone. These stone carving animals have a history of more than 1300 years, in modern people's view they are undoubtedly one of the most powerful symbols of the great Tang Dynasty. These walk the griffin hair scattered, leaping, the qi Guan Tang Tomb, known as the "first lion in the east" reputation. The stone lion, so domineering, was not used by a great emperor, but was the guardian of an unknown ancient woman. The most famous stone carving in Tang Shunling is the Libra (also known as the unicorn), which is said to be auspicious beast that can recognize good and evil and distinguish the twists and turns.

Tang Shunling is the mausoleum of Yang's mother of Wuze Tian, in the south of Chenjia Village, 18 kilometers northeast of Xianyang City. The cemetery has inner cities and outer cities. The inner city is also called the imperial city, which is square, and the four-corner earthen wall still exists. The south gate of the inner city has two earthen walls, the spacing is 20 meters, the bottom plane of the tomb is square, the edge length is 48.5 meters, and the Linggao 12.6 meters. There are murals on the tomb road. There are more than 30 stone carvings such as stone man, stone sheep, stone lion, stone lotus seat, Hua table top, stone foundation, Tianzhu and other stone carvings in front of the tomb. There are 1 pair of stone sitting lions on the east, west and north of the tomb, and 1 pair of stone horses in the north of the tomb.
