The tomb, which stands on the seaside, is the tomb of the last king of Tahiti, Pomarillo V. The small tomb tower is built of coral stones, shaped like a small lighthouse, with a red door at the bottom, but usually closed to let people in. The top of the tower is a red Greek-style ripple.
