Colonel Wright chose the city for the sake of Adelaide and designed its street and park layout 200 years ago, including five squares. Victoria Square is in the centre of town. Some visitors won't be particularly impressed when there is no activity on the square. But my friends and I admire such a spacious square with trees and fountains where we can relax after shopping and sightseeing.
