On the East Bank of the Sangker River, there is a very old Buddhist pagoda, Wat Samraong Knong, which can be translated as a temple in the woods. It was formerly used as a prison in the Khmer Rouge period. Now a new pagoda is being built. In the north, there are some pictures commemorating the sacrifices of the Khmer Rouge period, which can be used to learn some historical facts of that year.
