Wensi Temple, formerly known as Tongyuan Temple, is located next to Huzui Street in the ancient town of Xiahexia, Huai'an District, Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province, China. The Temple was built in the late Tang Dynasty, after the Song, Yuan, Ming, Qing, several water disasters, several rise and fall, in the Qing Dynasty Kangxi Jiangnan patrol through the ancient town of Huai'an Fuhe, was called "Wensi Temple" by Qinci Temple, so the name.
