Opposite the Arizona State Capitol is the Memorial Plaza, established in honor of World War II, called Wesley Bolin Square (State Government Square), where Wesley became the first governor of the 48th state in 1912. There are many statues built in the square to commemorate the people and representatives of the state who contributed to the country. One of the statues of Indian missionaries is striking, and this statue commemorates the contributions of Indians in World War II. The story of the film "Wind Warrior" starring Nikolai Cage is based on the story of Indian soldiers. On the battlefield, the Indian preacher's words can't be deciphered by the Japanese, saving the lives of countless American soldiers. The last Indian warrior during World War II died in 2015 at the age of ninety.
