[Yaqing Temple] is located in Acha Township, Baiyu County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province, 122 kilometers away from Baiyu County and 102 kilometers away from Ganzi County. It is a famous Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Sichuan, Tibetan and Qinghai-Tibet areas. It is a large-scale study place with Seda Wuming Buddha College. The Yaqing Temple was founded in 1985 by Jiang Yanglong and the Visitor (Lama Aqiu Rinpoche), and now has more than 20,000 monks and nuns, mainly Juem (Tibetan female honorees call nuns), which is a large temple in Tibetan areas that is very influential. The Changqu River flowing through here encloses the grassland wetlands into an island, which is home to many practitioners of the Kyom, forming the world's largest Kyom district, and the Zaba (male monk) district outside the island. The small box room where the practitioners live is built by the practitioners themselves, and at its peak there are nearly 20,000. Standing on the observation deck on the mountain, it is quite spectacular. At present, for fire safety, the local government is renovating and improving fire prevention facilities in the Juemu area.
