The old course of the Yellow River refers to the course before the current course of the Yellow River. From the lower reaches from Wuzhi and Xingyang in Henan Province, the river has changed from time to time. Rough statistics of large and small migrations recorded in history amounted to about 1,5600, most of which were concentrated downstream. The downstream old road is slightly folded fan-shaped, the northernmost one enters the sea through Bazhou City, Hebei Province (formerly the hegemonic county) and Haihe River in Tianjin, and the southernmost one enters the sea through Yingshui and eddy water (part of the Yellow River water enters the Yangtze River from Xunli Canal of Huaihe River).
