Yin Xu, anciently known as "Beimeng", is the site of the late Shang Dynasty capital of China, located in Anyang City, Henan Province, and is also known as "Shangyu" and "Dayu Shang" in the Oracle Bu Ci. Yinxu is the first capital site in Chinese history to have documents to test and confirmed by archaeology and Oracle, consisting of the site of the Wangling Mausoleum of Yinxu, the site of the palace and the temple of Yinxu, and the site of the northern Fujian Mall. In the early 20th century, Yinxu was famous for excavating Oracle. Since the archaeological excavation was officially started in 1928, Yinxu has unearthed a large number of capital architectural sites and rich cultural relics represented by Oracle and bronzeware. The system shows the brilliant bronze civilization of the late Shang Dynasty in China. Established the scientific status of Yin Shang society as a history of Xin. It was rated as the first of "100 major archaeological discoveries" in China in the 20th century. Since the discovery of Yin Ruins, about 150,000 pieces of oracle have been unearthed. The information recorded in the Oracle text brought China's written and credible history to the Shang Dynasty, and a new discipline, Oracle, was created. In March 1961, the State Council included Yin Ruins in the first batch of key cultural relics protection units nationwide. In July 2006, Yin Ruins was listed on the World Cultural Heritage List by the United Nations UNESCO. It is a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction.
