Dehua Street was built in 1905. At that time, Chen Longso, the then Henan governor, asked the Qing government to approve, and set up Zhengzhou as a commercial building, and began planning road construction around Zhengzhou, which formed Dehua Street. At that time, the streets were bounded by Yuanling Street, Nanming Tianzhongli, and Beiming Huiren Street. After the "hui" and "destroy" harmonics were taboo by merchants, Liu Bangxuan and the merchants collegially discussed, took the meaning of "dehua education people", named Dehua Street, and continued to use it to this day.
