The Pearl River Bridge is located in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China. It is a cross-river bridge named after the crossing of the Pearl River. The bridge was built on October 19, 1958, and officially opened on October 1, 1960. The Pearl River Bridge is divided into East Bridge and West Bridge. The East Bridge is about 336 meters long and about 8.5 meters high. The West Bridge is about415.5 meters long, about 6 meters high, 23 meters wide, and the distance between the two bridges is about 1.5 kilometers. In the middle of the two bridges is a dual-track railway-Guangsan Railway, with single-lane roads and pedestrian roads on both sides.
