The ancient village of Zoumatang is hidden in Maoshan Village, in the southern suburbs of Ningbo. It has a history of more than 1,000 years, with many ancient buildings in the Ming and Qing Dynasties and simple folk customs. It is known as the first village of Jinshi in China. According to historical records, it was built in the Duangong period of the Northern Song Dynasty (988 AD), when Chen moved from Changzhou, Jiangsu to live here, it has been more than a thousand years. At that time, Chen Yu, a Jinshi from Changzhou, was buried in Maoshan after death, and his son was the father to guard the mausoleum, and he took his family to settle in the horse pond, which became the ancestor of the current horse pond people, and has been passed down for 38 generations. Chen's family tree, which is stored in Ningbo Tianyi Pavilion today, clearly and in detail records the millennium changes of this family.
