This a non-expensive traditional Thai restaurant. Even though the food is tasty, they have a problem with the definition of what is hot/spicy food. I ordered something that in the menu was declared non spicy and it was really really spicy! When I asked them how is it possible they still insisted it wasn't so... My understanding: for a regular Thai person mildly hot is "non spicy"! This isn't a restaurant for people that can't stand spicy food (like me...).

It belongs to the relatively high-end Thai food. The waiters inside will have a little Thai. When you enter the door, you will say Savadika. The roast beef inside tastes good, and the Dongyin Gong noodles are also very distinctive. I like it overall.

We came on Thursday night and had a great meal. The place itself was quite noisy, because there was no furniture to absorb the noise, so check if there was a table behind the bar as it might be a bit quieter. Green mango salad is as tasty as crispy noodles. We had a delicious dip and a very nice chicken dish. All in all good, but it would be nice if it wasn't so noisy.

I am a big fan of Thai food and found it to be the best. The three of us ordered an appetizer and then put two dishes, and a delicious dessert (coconut custard), one of us brought a box for lunch. We all love spicy food and found it just right. Fresh food and great service!

My wife and I both love Asian cuisine. Thai food has something better in DC than BAAN Thailand. We especially love the food in northern Thailand. Special attention is green mango salad, cassava skin chicken, Thai fan and chicken curry egg noodles. We never had a saucy meal, but Thai food was so tasty that we didn't have to go too far.

Not a general Thai dish. Great taste is real, subtle, unique. Some foods can be spicy but not just for heat. It doesn’t blow your head away. It’s for adding other spices. Definitely worth a visit.

The restaurant is located above the upper floor of Tata Like. We share beef skewers, fried pockets, pineapple chicken bites, and fried rice shrimp, mango shreds, red onions, scrambled eggs and beef slices. The food was good, but the restaurant was noisy, even when we were eating. It was a small, narrow space and sound echo.

Baan Thailand with great sushi and great Thai food is rare. The atmosphere upstairs is relaxed and cool. I have been there many times and every time is great. This side of the city is always getting better... food.
