Beccafico Bar & Snack Review

This was the first stop on our food tour on a cold February day. We had cafe coretto (espresso with grappa) to warm us up and tried the lemon tart and the pistachio muffin. The tart was okay, a little too sweet for my taste, but the muffin — the pistachio muffin is life-changing. The servers were friendly and fun, and the service was fast enough for us. the location is great, just off the vaporetto stop at the Accademia. We didn't people watch while there (it was February, after all) but it would be a good place to do that in warmer weather.

Stopped here whilst on a day excursion to Venice. so was not looking for a long sit down meal, was just looking for a quick pit stop before seeing the sights of Venice. We shared a Large Pizza, and had some drinks. Came to a very reasonable 23 Euros.(For Venice prices). Pizza was nice, Friendly staff, and was nice to sit and people watch.

Very polite waitress, she tried to help us a lot. Reasonable prices, nice to sit for a quick snack or a refreshment.
