Horrified with the food and service. Manager makes me feel very uncomfortable and uneasy not a very welcoming place to be. I have no issue with the teenagers that work there and serve, they're lovely. I know of a few people that used to work there but left due to the poor managment. I've heard stories of what's it's like in the kitchen, they eat the food off the plates before they go up to the restaurant. I'm appalled with the standards.

    2/5Bad

This use to be one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area but since Christmas 2015 seems to have gone down hill. We ate in the restaurant on Chinese new year and have used their takeaway since and on both occasions we were disappointed. Really sad it has changed so much....

Arrived at Birds nest after struggling to find a parking slot near the restaurant,I arrived ahead of 3 other people, all served before me?????And 2 of the people had larger amount of dishes!so I sat patiently, the 2 large orders went out in nice carry out bags, eventually mine arrived in a plastic bag, when I asked why I hadn't got a smart maroon carry out bag I was told I had to order over £40.I had spent just under £32 so I felt that would qualify me,no they stood by over £40. Now the food, bland, lacking colour, greasy, ribs and garlic burnt, infact a restless night was had by all who had eaten with us!!!!I will leave that to your imagination!! Chinese,no way more like an English impression, seemed the chow mein had thin thread noodles on the bottom and flat pasta like something on the top. My worst Chinese ever. My advice go to The Wet Wok on Plymouth Hoe,you wont be disappointed from the moment you walk in you are made to feel special and valued and the Chinese food divine.
