You hardly get such places in Dubai, mostly because they are hardly spoken of,because most people don't know about them. Well,I'm a foodie and as such,a very picky one.I love sea food, but it's mostly very costly in the few places I know of. Since 2015,my close friend Rachel brought this place up in a conversation we were having and I finally had the chance in March 2016 to have my experience. Saturday evening, after strolling on the beach and watching the sunset to usher in a new night,my hunger pangs couldn't be contained especially because we had finally managed to locate this hidden gem. Located next to Fisherman's accommodation on the Jumeirah beach (very close to the Jumeirah public beach),it's a very simple restaurant with inside and outside seating. Sitting outside is ideal in the evenings since the daytime heat and humidity are slightly unbearable. We queued to place our order, which consisted sea food (the main meal served there),all raw and fresh.Ours was choice Hamour fish and about 500gms of fresh prawns, all these cost a paltry Dhs 125 ($34.20) and we waited for 30 minutes, which is the standard waiting time as mentioned on a sign board outside the premise. The meal is served with an option of white rice or paratha and veggie salads.
